One of these, plus...
The motor from one of these...
And one of these!
I mean, how hard can it be? You’d go slow, but damnit, it would be the happiest you’ve ever been travelling 10 kilometres an hour.

What if you kept the motor in the 7 and used the motor from the chainsaw to act as turbo pressure on demand...

There is more than one possibility with the combination of these items...to which are you referring? I was thinking about strapping a turborcharged chainsaw to a 7

That’s what I was thinking.

That’s one way to live out your lumberjack fantasy...

Keep the chainsaw motor running at full RPM all the time to spool up a huge great big turbo (from a semi truck or something) which then feeds the boost into the main engine.
-> Redneck Anti-Lag-System.

But then wouldn’t the turbo be a supercharger since it would be engine driven instead of exhaust driven?

Two words: Hayabusa 7.

But it wouldn’t be driven by the same engine as the wheels...

Congratulations, you made the Caterham Turtle.

I’m okay with this.

only a canadian would want a chainsaw powered car.

And I’d put in plaid seats, and make it that somehow only Tim Hortons cups are allowed in the (also plaid) cupholders.

I want plaid seats and tim hortons so maybe you are right about the chainsaw motor too.

Would be a really weird request for the fabricator. Making engine mounts for that? lol

I’m loving the idea of building my own Caterham. Now you have me thinking about plaid seats...
